Roll Call/Declaration of a Quorum: Buckingham, Duvall, Fink, L. Morrison, S. Morrison, Rataiczyk, Sheehan, Sipple

Approval of Minutes: August 19, 2020 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting

September 1, 2020 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting

Pending Business:

1. Text and Map Amendment to the City of Rolling Meadows Comprehensive Zoning Code of Ordinances to: 1) amend Rolling Meadows Code of Ordinances (“Code”) Chapter 122 to adopt a Zoning Code establishing regulations governing, among other things, a) title, purpose and intent, b) definitions, c) regulations of general applicability, d) off-street parking and loading, e) zoning district regulations, f) administration and development review, g) non-conforming uses and structures, h) environmental performance standards, i) landscaping and site development standards, and j) signs; 2) rezone certain properties as indicated in the required legal notice, 3) amend the Code’s text to re-designate: a) the R-1 Zoning District as the R-2 Zoning District; b) the R-2 Zoning District as the R-3 Zoning District; c) the R-3 Zoning District as the R-4 Zoning District; d) the R-4 Zoning District as the R-5 Zoning District; e) the R-5 Zoning District as the R-1 Zoning District; 4) other amendments as drafted; and 5) other relief as required, City of Rolling Meadows, Petitioner.

New Business – (New Public Hearings):

1. Preliminary approval for Dissolution of Material Services Planned Development, Plat of Subdivision, creation of Cultivate Change Planned Development, and Special Use to allow an adult use cannabis craft grower, and other relief necessary at 3650 Berdnick Street, Laura Luisi, Cultivate Change, LLC, Petitioner.

Discussion Items:

1. Discussion of possible alternate meeting date of November 18, 2020, due to Election Day being on regular meeting date.

2. Discussion of earlier start time for meetings in 2021.

Reports: Update of on-going projects and cases

Next Meeting: November 3, 2020 at 7:30 pm in the City Council Chambers
