The Village of Buffalo Grove has started a campaign to update contact information for residents and businesses. This initiative is part of the preparation for a new customer relationship management (CRM) system, which will connect various Village systems to improve operations and communication.

Residents and business owners are encouraged to visit vbg.org/updatemyinfo by February 28, 2026, to complete an online form. The form allows participants to confirm or change their contact details, state whether they are owners or tenants, and choose how they prefer to receive communications from the Village. The Village assures that all information provided will remain secure and not be shared.

“Accurate and up-to-date contact information ensures the Village can reach the right people where they are and when it matters most,” said Assistant Village Manager Tyler Grace. “This effort will not only improve service response but also strengthen our ability to deliver timely alerts and important community updates.”

To raise awareness about this effort, postcards are being sent out to all addresses in Buffalo Grove as part of an outreach campaign. The project is managed by the Office of the Village Manager along with the Communications and Engagement Department.

The CRM system is planned for launch between late 2026 and early 2027. Once implemented, it will allow residents to submit service requests, track their progress, access information, and receive real-time updates. This aligns with the Village’s goal of offering responsive services based on data.

For more information or assistance with updating contact details, individuals can email communications@vbg.org or call 847-459-2500.
