The Village of Buffalo Grove has begun a campaign to update contact information for residents and businesses. This initiative is intended to support the development of a new customer relationship management (CRM) system, which will link various Village systems to improve operations, internal coordination, and communication with the community.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to participate in the data collection effort by completing an online form at vbg.org/updatemyinfo before February 28, 2026. The form allows participants to confirm or change their contact details, specify whether they are owners or tenants, and choose their preferred communication methods. The Village assures that all submitted information will remain secure and not be shared.
“Accurate and up-to-date contact information ensures the Village can reach the right people where they are and when it matters most,” said Assistant Village Manager Tyler Grace. “This effort will not only improve service response but also strengthen our ability to deliver timely alerts and important community updates.”
To promote participation, postcards about the initiative are being sent to every address in Buffalo Grove this week. The project is overseen by the Office of the Village Manager along with the Communications and Engagement Department as part of a larger CRM rollout.
The new CRM system is scheduled for launch between late 2026 and early 2027. It aims to allow residents to submit service requests, track their progress, access information, and receive real-time updates. This aligns with Buffalo Grove’s objective of offering more responsive services based on data.
