Analysis: Bartlett pays $2.55 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bartlett Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 71.9 percent of the $1,852,960 the Bartlett Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $2.55 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Bartlett contributed $1,331,419 to the fund, which saw a $143,764 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $521,064, or 28.1 percent, in 2018. Another $477 came from other unspecified sources.
