Analysis: Kenilworth pays $11.07 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Kenilworth Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 91.7 percent of the $874,860 the Kenilworth Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $11.07 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Kenilworth contributed $802,000 to the fund, which saw a $143,452 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $72,440, or 8.3 percent, in 2018. Another $420 came from other unspecified sources.
