Analysis: Lincolnwood pays $8.15 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lincolnwood Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 89.1 percent of the $2,464,823 the Lincolnwood Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $8.15 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lincolnwood contributed $2,195,470 to the fund, which saw a $193,046 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $269,354, or 10.9 percent, in 2018.
