Analysis: Park Ridge pays $4.34 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Park Ridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.3 percent of the $2,771,632 the Park Ridge Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.34 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Park Ridge contributed $2,252,706 to the fund, which saw a $233,847 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $518,500, or 18.7 percent, in 2018. Another $426 came from other unspecified sources.
