Analysis: Park Ridge pays $4.19 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Park Ridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 80.8 percent of the $2,509,804 the Park Ridge Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.19 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Park Ridge contributed $2,027,060 to the fund, which saw a $227,425 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $482,744, or 19.2 percent, in 2016.
