Analysis: Lincolnwood pays $4.51 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lincolnwood Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.9 percent of the $2,032,457 the Lincolnwood Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.51 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lincolnwood contributed $1,663,647 to the fund, which saw a $303,243 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $368,810, or 18.1 percent, in 2016.
