The 2016 work plan is on the agenda for the upcoming Village of Mount Prospect Finance Commission meeting.

The commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the third-floor executive conference room of Village Hall, located at 50 S. Emerson.

The commission will call for public comment. If an individual would like to attend or participate in the meeting, but requires reasonable accommodation or has questions about the accessibility of the facilities, contact the finance director's office at 847-392-6000, ext. 5276.

Upon hearing public comments and dispensing with old business, the commission will move to the 2016 work plan discussion under new business. Following the discussion, the commission will review any other business.

After hearing the chairman's and finance director's reports, the meeting will adjourn. The next Finance Commission meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Village Hall.

The Finance Commission has seven members: Chair Vince Grochocinski, Pam Bazan, Trisha Chokshi, John Kellerhals, Don Ocwieja, Thomas Pekras and Mary Rath. The commission advises the mayor and village board on maintaining a sound tax structure and fiscally responsible policies.
