The Arlington Heights Youth Commission will continue planning for the 2016 Teen Job Fair at its next meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Commissions Room on the second floor of Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

Commissioners will hear updates and review the poster for high schools ahead of the  Teen Job Fair, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 20. The commission also will discuss how to approach the high schools and the process for getting approval to have the Teen Job Fair advertised during schools’ morning announcements. Folders for the Job Fair will be  ready for distribution later this month.

The commissioners also will hear reports on items of interest from the school district, park district, library and police department.

The Village of Arlington Heights Youth Commission will meet again Jan. 28 and Feb. 18. Those who are disabled and need reasonable accommodations to attend the meeting or have questions about the meeting’s accessibility should contact Disability Services Coordinator David Robb at 847-368-5793, fax 847-368-5980 or email drobb@vah.com.
