The Village of Streamwood Board of trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, 301 E. Irving Park Road, to discuss liquor licenses, pay ranges and other issues.

The board will hear the first reading of a proposed ordinance to reduce the number of Class A and Class N liquor licenses because Smokin’ Tavern & Grille never opened, and the 7-11 store at 305 Barrington Road has closed.

The board will hear the second reading and potentially approve the ordinance for 2016 salary ranges. This ordinance only affects eight job categories of non-union Village employees. Also on the agenda is an engineering services proposal from HR Green Inc. The firm will be providing design work on Park Avenue for a cost not to exceed $22,678.40.

The board also will review and approve the semi-monthly expenditures of $552,239.99, which includes the bills dated up to Jan. 7. In addition, the board will approve the authorized signatories for banking transactions. These will be Village President Billie Roth, Village Manager Sharon Caddigan and Director of Finance/Treasurer Josh Peacock.

After the regular meeting, the board will go into closed session to discuss collective bargaining matters and salary schedules for village employees as well as personnel matters regarding specific employees.
