In its ongoing campaign to enhance its connections and service to the Evanston community, AMITA Health and the Saint Francis Hospital Foundation have expanded the outreach of the AMITA/Evanston Fire Department ECHO program.
Community members are invited to attend and participate in Robert Crown Center's Fall Flea Market, located at 1701 Main St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 2. Admission is free and open to the public.
Recently, state Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, D-Chicago, attended the annual Gladstone Park Fall Fest to meet and greet local neighbors one-on-one and to judge the costume contest. “Events like these bring our community closer together and are a great way for residents to learn about our office,” said LaPointe.
Artist Blessing Hancock, procured through a call for artists process by the City of Evanston working in partnership with the City's Arts Council, will create a public art installation for the new Robert Crown Community Center and is seeking public input to be incorporated into the design.
