City of Des Plaines issued the following announcement on July 29.
The City of Des Plaines has implemented a supplemental order regarding social distancing and face coverings, directing the community and its visitors to follow CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Order goes into effect at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 29th, and addresses City requirements for both indoor and outdoor activities. An excerpt from the order states,
"Except as otherwise specifically provided in this Supplemental Order, persons residing in, doing business in, traveling through, or visiting the City must take the following public health steps to protect their own and their fellow citizens' health and lives."
