Village of Buffalo Grove Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met June 13.

CALL TO ORDER and ROLL CALL:
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Chairman Dibbern via remote go-to-meeting. Commissioner Johnson called the roll and noted for the record that a quorum was present at the meeting. Present were Commissioners Johnson, Hartman, Fishman, Berman, and Dibbern. Also present was Lieutenant Rodriguez.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: None.

SPECIAL BUSINESS: None
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Chairman Dibbern advised that the Police Officer Lateral Entry candidates will be interviewed in closed session and their interview scores and a Police Officer Lateral Entry Preliminary Eligibility Register will be approved upon returning to open session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
A. A motion was made at 8:01 a.m. by Commissioner Hartman, seconded by Commissioner Fishman to move to Executive Session to discuss Section 2(C)(1) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act: the Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of Specific Employees of the Public Body or Legal Counsel for the Public Body, Including Hearing Testimony on a Complaint Lodged Against an Employee of the Public Body or Against Legal Counsel for the Public Body to Determine its Validity. Commissioners Johnson, Fishman, Berman, and Dibbern voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed.
B. The Commission moved to Executive Session from 8:01 a.m. to 12:53 p.m.
C. Commissioner Hartman made a motion to adjourn Executive Session at 12:53 p.m., seconded by Commissioner Fishman. Chairman Dibbern and Commissioners Johnson, Hartman, Fishman and Berman voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION:
A. The open session resumed at 12:53 p.m.
B. The Commissioners met via remote Go-To-Meeting to discuss and approve the Police Officer
Lateral Entry Oral Interview Scores. A motion was made by Commissioner Fishman, seconded by Commissioner Hartman, to approve the Police Officer Lateral Entry Oral Interview Scores as presented. Commissioners Johnson, Hartman, Fishman, Berman and Dibbern voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed.
C. Chairman Dibbern advised of the candidates who passed and will be included on the Police Officer Lateral Entry Preliminary Eligibility Register. A motion was mad by Commissioner Berman, seconded by Commissioner Fishman to approve the Police Officer Lateral Entry Preliminary Eligibility Register as presented. Commissioners Johnson, Hartman, Fishman, Berman and Dibbern voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT:
A motion was made by Commissioner Hartman, seconded by Commissioner Fishman to adjourn the special meeting at 1:12 p.m. All Commissioners present voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed.
