City of Des Plaines issued the following announcement on March 18.
As of March 18, 2020, City Hall is closed to the general public, limiting visitors to all of its facilities at this time. If you believe there's a high-priority, business-related issue that needs to be addressed, please call 847.391.5488 to request an appointment with the appropriate staff member.
Residents are strongly encouraged to conduct city-related business online, by email, or by phone.
This will allow staff to concentrate on essential services and operations as they work to address the impact of COVID-19 on daily operations. Customers can pay water utility bills online by visiting desplaines.org/payutilitybills.
Community members can also subscribe to receive important email updates by visiting desplaines.org/mycity. Contact information for specific departments is also available at desplaines.org/AtoZ.
