Northbrook Park District issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.

Schedule your own workouts with a membership at The Ridge, located inside the Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Avenue. Equipment includes two treadmills, an elliptical cross trainer, recumbent bike, upright bike, adjustable pulley weightlift machine, balance balls, mats and free weights.

“With winter approaching people are looking for ways to stay in shape indoors and The Ridge offers a comfortable setting that is easily accessible,” said Recreation Manager Meri Shea. “Plus, this is a great time of year to start thinking about ways you might want to change up your fitness routine in 2020.”

Yearly membership is $120 for residents (18 and older) and $150 for non-residents. Senior membership for adults 65 and older is $95 a year for residents and $119 for non-residents.

Personal training also is available starting at $60 per session for residents and $75 per session for non-residents. Two-person sessions start at $110 for residents and $140 for non-residents.
