City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
NOTICE:
All non-emergency City offices, including the Edward Schock Centre of Elgin and the Eastside Recreation Center, will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 3.
