If House members were wondering whether Rep. David Harris (R-Arlington Heights) had something good to say this week, they would not be remiss.
Keeping up with positive news from the Prairie State, Harris announced at the May 17 House floor debate that the National Council for Home Safety and Security rated some of the state’s school districts as the best in the United States.
Harris said the rankings were based on several factors, including funding, student performance, drop-out rates and poverty rates. He added he was glad to announce the winners.

“The No. 1 on the list is Naperville School District 203, the No. 2 is Morton School District 709 and the No. 3 is Wakanda School District 118,” Harris said. “We have three school districts in the top 10 in the United States.”
