A collective bargaining agreement passed at the Feb. 2 meeting of the Glenview Board of Trustees.
A number of items on the Consent Agenda were passed in a single vote at the Village of Glenview Board of Trustees meeting on Feb. 2.
Unless a trustee or member of the public wishes to hear more discussion on a particular item, all items on the agenda are passed in one vote. If more discussion is desired, the item is removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.
Included in the Consent Agenda was the resolution approving the collective bargaining agreement between the village and Local 4186 I.A.F.F., the Glenview Professional Fire Fighters Association. The tentative agreement was reached on Jan. 4, and union members voted and ratified the agreement on Jan. 22, 23 and 24.
The second hearing of the ordinance that will establish Special Service Area 87 (SSA 87) for Glen Oak Acres was also on the Consent Agenda. This was for road and sewer improvements in Area N., which would take effect on March 19. Also included were several single-lot subdivisions, an amendment to the Verizon Wireless lease, returning electric aggregation program customers to ConEd and several agreements and contracts.
Under new business, the commercial zoning variation for Prairie Material at 2900 Old Willow Road was continued. After hearing public comments, the meeting was adjourned.
