The program will feature a Know Your Rights briefing provided by the Indo-American Center. In addition, JCFS Chicago’s Kaufman Wolf Center for Trauma and Resilience will present information on trauma exposure and coping strategies. Organizers encourage advance registration for those planning to attend.

The event is hosted by several local officials, including Senator Ram Villivalam, Representative Kevin Olickal, Skokie Mayor Ann Tennes, Niles Township Supervisor Bonnie Kahn Ognisanti, Senator Laura Fine, Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz, and Cook County Commissioner Josina Morita.
