The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) will close the Yellow Line between Howard and Dempster-Skokie stations this weekend to perform track maintenance. The closure is scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7, and will last until 4 a.m. on Monday, November 10.

During this period, rail service along the affected stretch will be suspended. To accommodate riders, a shuttle bus service will operate in place of trains.

According to CTA officials, the maintenance work will focus on the section of track between McCormick Boulevard and Howard Station.
