Raja Krishnamoorthi, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 8th district, shared a series of posts reflecting his recent engagements and sentiments. Krishnamoorthi, who succeeded Tammy Duckworth in 2017, has been an active participant in public service, advocating for inclusivity and connection with his constituents.

On March 30, 2025, Congressman Krishnamoorthi extended festive regards in a post saying, "As the holy season of Ramadan comes to an end, I want to wish everyone who celebrated a joyful Eid al-Fitr. Eid Mubarak!”

Meeting with students from Elgin’s Kimball Middle School, Krishnamoorthi shared his engagement with the younger generation. On March 31, 2025, he tweeted, "It was great to meet with students from Elgin’s Kimball Middle School in the Capitol this morning. If you ever need a backup guard with questionable eligibility, let me know!"

Further reflecting his advocacy for human rights, Krishnamoorthi reiterated his commitment to the transgender community. On March 31, 2025, he declared his solidarity by stating, "Trans people deserve to feel safe and welcomed no matter where they go. As a proud vice-chair of the House @EqualityCaucus, I’m proud to stand as an ally to the trans community today and every day against hate and bigotry in all its forms.”
