Village of South Barrington President and Board of Trustees met April 28.

CALL TO ORDER President McCombie called the Board meeting to order at 8:08 p.m. Clerk Wood took roll: Present: President: Paula McCombie
Trustees: Joseph Abbate, Bernard Kerman, Hina Patel, Anthony Stagno Absent: Trustees: Edgar Alvarado, Steve Guranovich A quorum was present. Also present were Village Engineer Natalie Karney, Village Building Officer Mike Moreland, Finance Director Michelle Bodie, Executive Assistant/Deputy Clerk Melissa Moeller, Village Consulting Engineer Jodi McCarthy, Village Attorney James Vasselli, and Court Reporter Patty Tyson.
PUBLIC COMMENT President McCombie asked if any person would like to address the Board on any matter; there were no responses.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Board consensus was to approve all minutes listed on the agenda in one group. MOTION to APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL JOINT VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND PLAN COMMISSION/ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETINGS OF MARCH 14, 2022 AND APRIL 7, 2022 AND OF THE SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD MEETINGS OF APRIL 13, 2022 AND APRIL 22, 2022 was made by Trustee Kerman. SECONDED by Trustee Stagno. There was no further discussion. By unanimous voice vote, the motion carried.
The Board's attention turned to the agenda item concerning the Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals recommendation.
MOTION to ACCEPT THE PLAN COMMISSION ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL OF CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT REGARDING PRELIMINARY PLAN LAND USE ADJUSTMENTS FOR 61 EAST PALATINE ROAD, SOUTH BARRINGTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS SUBJECT TO ENGINEERING REPORT CONTINGENCIES was made by Trustee Abbate. SECONDED by Trustee Kerman. There was no further discussion. Roll call was taken: AYES: Abbate, Kerman, Patel, Stagno NAYS: (None) ABSTAIN: (None) ABSENT: Alvarado, Guranovich Motion carried
The Board chose to table the agenda items concerning the annexation agreement and other agenda items tied to the annexation. President McCombie asked if there were any questions; there were none,
MOTION to TABLE AGENDA ITEMS CONCERNING ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ANNEXATION AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY AT 61 EAST PALATINE ROAD, SOUTH BARRINGTON (UNINCORPORATED), ILLINOIS, ORDINANCE TO ANNEX PROPERTY AT 61 EAST PALATINE ROAD TO THE VILLAGE OF SOUTH BARRINGTON, ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6A-1, 6A-4 AND 6A-6 OF SOUTH BARRINGTON ZONING REGULATIONS CHAPTER 6A ENTITLED 'PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, AND ORDINANCE REZONING THE PROPERTY AT 61 EAST PALATINE ROAD AND APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAN OF PUD, PRELIMINARY PLAT OF SUBDIVISION AND PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING PLANS was made by Trustee Kerman. President McCombie announced that there was no Executive Session tonight.
