The Leadership Institute, a training ground for conservative political hopefuls, together with NXTgen Illinois, has recently conducted its candidate development workshop in Palatine.
The eight-hour training which started at 8:30 in the morning was attended by individuals who are looking at a political career in the future.
Participants were taught how to run a winning campaign, conduct strategic research, organize campaign staff and structure, raise funds, and make grassroots voter contact.
Since its institution in 1979, Leadership Institute has taught conservatives how to influence policy through leadership, activism, and direct participation.
Several more workshops covering the same topics will be held in Homer Glen, Grayslake, Effingham, Marion, Shiloh, and Bloomington.
NXTgen Illinois will be updating its website for future training sessions and training locations.
