Glencoe Park District issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.

Fall Programs Available to View Wednesday, August 12, Registration on Friday, August 14

The Glencoe Park District’s digital Fall Program Guide of available classes will be available to view on Wednesday, August 12 after 2 PM. On Friday, August 14 at 9 AM, registration for residents will begin. Non-residents may sign up for classes on Monday, August 17 at 9 AM.

This guide will be available online on the home page of our website. A link to the digital guide will be sent to households with valid email addresses on file and posted on social media. Additional programs, classes, and clinics will be added to it later in August and early September.

Additionally, all classes offered will include what will happen if the state moves to a different phase of the Governor's Restore Illinois plan. Examples include moving the program outside, to a larger room, hosting the class online, or if the class will be canceled and a refund issued.

Before/After School Kids Care

We are working on programming to support working families in District 35 who need CARE support during e-learning this fall.

We know you have a TON of questions - we're working out details around the clock and will share more information as soon as we are able.

Planning a Vacation or Traveling Outside of Illinois?

The Glencoe Park District would like your help minimizing the spread of COVID in our community. The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is working with state and local public health partners to implement after-travel health precautions. As of 7/26/20, the following states have emerged as an area with widespread or ongoing community spread: AZ, FL, LA, SC, TX, GA, MS, ID, AL, NV, TN, CA, AR, UT, NC, IA, and OK. The states and regions under this travel advisory will be updated by IDPH on a regular basis.

It is recommended that Park District patrons who have traveled to one of these locations wait 14 days before returning to Park District programs to ensure COVID is not spread in our community.

Please visit the IDPH's website for updated information about COVID and the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) website for suggestions on traveling within the United States.
