City of Des Plaines issued the following announcement on March 27.
The City of Des Plaines invites its residents to take a short survey about the challenges that low to moderate income households are currently experiencing.
The goal is to use the City's annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) in the most responsible and effective way.
These funds help providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities throughout the community. The survey takes approximately six minutes to complete, making it easy for our residents to offer personal insights and opinions without taking too much of their time.
