ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 55: Moylan Introduces Legislation to Address I-90 Graffiti

55

Illinois State House District 55 issued the following announcement on March 13

State Rep. Marty Moylan, D-Des Plaines, recently introduced legislation to clean up unsightly graffiti along Interstate 90.

“The graffiti along I-90 around Chicago is an eyesore that needs to be dealt with, and we should give the city the funds it needs to clean it up,” Moylan said. “This legislation will help restore I-90 to make it graffiti-free. We need to take care of our infrastructure, and this is one small way we can do it.”

The Moylan-introduced House Bill 5750 aims to remove the graffiti by way of a grant to the City of Chicago. Moylan’s legislation would appropriate $100,000 from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the City of Chicago for graffiti reduction along the I-90 corridor.

For more information about this legislation, please contact Moylan’s full-time constituent office at 847-635-6821 or email StateRepMoylan@gmail.com.
