President Roth called the workshop to order at 7:12 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Village Board is meeting for a Workshop with staff to continue discussion and planning for the 2020 Goal and Objectives.
ESC Consultant Jim Norman presented a draft of the ongoing and new focus goals. The Board and staff reviewed and discussed the new focus goals.
A break was taken from 8 p.m. to 8:21 p.m.
Mr. Norman led a discussion regarding the recent Illinois legislation regarding the legalization of recreational cannabis. The Board and staff briefly discussed this matter. Village Manager Sharon Caddigan noted there is a current online survey on the Village website to garner the residents’ position on whether the Village should or should not allow recreational sales.
Trustee Baumer moved to adjourn. Trustee Schmidt seconded the motion. A voice vote approved the adjournment. The Village Board adjourned the workshop at 9:10 p.m.
