governor candidate Daniel Biss returns $250 contribution from Joan M. Rothenberg

The campaign committee of governor candidate Daniel Biss, Biss for Illinois, returned a $250 contribution from Joan M. Rothenberg on Jan. 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Rothenberg has not made any other contributions to Daniel Biss in the past 12 months.
