governor candidate Daniel Biss returns $250 contribution from Gary Cozette

The campaign committee of governor candidate Daniel Biss, Biss for Illinois, returned a $250 contribution from Gary Cozette on Oct. 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Cozette has not made any other contributions to Daniel Biss in the past 12 months.
