Unpaid fines for Palatine-based campaign committees totaled $17,800 in August 2018

Campaign committees in Palatine collectively owe a total of $17,800 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that three committees in Palatine were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The Palatine-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Citizens for Rudd, which owes a total of $15,050.

The committee has been fined for failure to comply and a late A-1 report.
