Unpaid fines for Arlington Heights-based campaign committees totaled $17,175 in August 2018

Campaign committees in Arlington Heights collectively owe a total of $17,175 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Arlington Heights were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The Arlington Heights-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Taxpayers for Bussey, which owes a total of $10,475.

The largest fine that Taxpayers for Bussey has yet to pay was imposed on Sept. 29, 2017, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $4,725.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Arlington Heights owing unpaid fines in August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
