Report: Which North Suburbs communities saw the most structure fires in 2017?

Palatine Rural Fire Protection District, Hanover Park Fire District and Elk Grove Fire District reported responding to the most structure fire incidents per capita in North Suburbs in 2017, according to the latest state report.

The annual summary of state fire incidents, published by the Illinois State Fire Marshal, records the number and type of fire-related incidents each fire protection district responded to in the calendar year. Fires are categorized as structure fires, vehicle fires or other fires.
