It was that time again for Rep. David Harris (R-Arlington Heights).
Harris, who always seems to have a knack for pointing out something good about the Prairie State, noted yet another intriguing piece of information during the May 29 House floor debate.
“I would like to put into the record today that Illinois is not quite the wasteland that we may have heard about by folks that indicate that everyone is leaving the state,” Harris said.
In March, Site Selection magazine named Illinois as a destination for businesses looking to relocate, according to Harris.
“Governor’s Cup rankings list the state as one of the top three for new and expanding businesses,” Harris said. “This is the second consecutive year that Illinois has received the honor.”
So, perhaps, the Prairie State may be on the right track, according to Harris.
