D. Public Hearing and Consideration of the Following Petitions:

1. Docket No. ZBA18-0001 – (2370 Shermer Road – Parking And Fencing) – Petition by Maple Middle School/Northbrook-Glenview School District 30, 2374 Shermer Road, Northbrook, IL 60062 requesting Zoning Code relief for the following: A) A variation to reduce the required corner side yard from 35’ to 8’-7” for parking along Sherman Drive; B) An exception to increase fence height in the required corner side yard from 3’ to 5’ along Sherman Drive; and C) An exception to increase fence height in the required front yard from 3’ to 8’ along Shermer Road for a property in the I-B, Zoning District. The Property is commonly known as 2370 Shermer Road (PREI Nos 04-16-402-007-0000 and 04-16-403-002-0000) and is the site of new school building.

2. Docket No. ZBA18-0002 – (1000 Skokie Boulevard – Temporary Trailers And Generator) – Petition by Gordon Pilmer, Finger-EPCO Northbrook, LLC, The Finger Companies, 99 Detering Street, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77007 requesting Zoning Code relief for the following: A) A variation to reduce the required front setback from 80’ to 3’ for the placement of a construction office trailer for McShane Construction; B) A variation to reduce the required front setback from 80’ to 5’ for the placement of a project office trailer for Finger-EPCO; and C) A variation to reduce the required front setback from 80’ to 40’ for the placement of a temporary generator. The property, Zoned O-4, Boulevard Office, is commonly known as 1000 Skokie Boulevard (PREI No 04-12-300-033-0000) and is the site of a new development project.

3. Docket No. ZBA18-0003 – (2120 Cargill Drive – New SFR) – Petition by Anya Raskin and Joe Sosani, 3641 Indian Wells Lane, Northbrook, IL 60062 for a variation to reduce the required front yard setback from 99.27’ (determined by averaging) to 40’ for a property in the R-3 District commonly known as 2120 Cargill Drive (04-16-400-056-0000). The variation is requested to construct a new single family residence.
