Rep. David Harris (R-Arlington Heights) is inviting everyone to his 5th Annual Senior Health Fair on Oct. 19 at Mount Prospect Village Hall.
Many health-care facilities are slated to be on hand to offer medical services, including flu shots (free with Medicare), pneumonia vaccinations, and blood pressure, A1C and hearing screenings. A heart health booth will also be available.
“The Annual Health Fair is a community event that has grown in attendance and exhibitors over the years,” Harris said in a press release. “And I am delighted that we have an even larger commitment of exhibitors this year than in the past. This year’s Health Fair is shaping up to be another great community event.”

The Moorings of Arlington Heights, Escorted Transportation Services Northwest, Fantastic Smiles, Illini Health Care, Nova Care Rehabilitation, and Transitional Care of Arlington Heights are expected to attend.
The Illinois Treasurer’s Office will also be in attendance to offer help with “I-Cash," the program that identifies abandoned assets and returns them to rightful recipients.
The Northwest Community Healthcare Therapy Dogs clinic will also be on the grounds this year as a special exhibitor offering canine services.
The fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
