Consider a Motion Authorizing the Village Manager to Execute a Proposal for Design Engineering Services for the Wilke Road Water Main Replacement - Approved by Voice Vote (Council District: Five) Public Works Director Matt Barry explained the proposed engineering services to prepare for the replacement of the Wilke Road water main, including site surveying, County permitting, plan development, and specification preparation for bidding purposes. Barry recommended authorizing the Village Manager to execute the proposal from Robinson Engineering of Itasca, Illinois for design engineering services for the Wilke Road Water Main Replacement in the amount of $29,450. Repairs to Well #6 take priority over the 2016 Water Main Extension Project (which can be added to the 2017 Budget); therefore, rejecting the 2016 Water Main Extension bids would allow resources to be placed toward essential repair of Well #6.
