The Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Women in Business Progressive Luncheon on Feb. 4.
The lunch will bring together two local Chamber of Commerce groups: Elgin Area and Northern Kane County Chambers of Commerce. Scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Haight, 166 Symphony Way, Elgin, the luncheon provides an opportunity for businesswomen to network and cultivate new business contacts with their peers from the two chambers.
The luncheon has a progressive format. Each person will move to a different, preassigned table for the first, second and third course of the meal. By moving from table to table and group to group, business owners can make new contacts as they enjoy lunch. The organizers will make every effort to seat business owners with non-competing chamber members and non-members.
Reservations are required to attend the lunch; no walk-ins will be allowed. The luncheon is $20 for members of both chambers and $30 for non-members. No reservations will be accepted after Feb. 1. The reservation form and payment should be sent to the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce. Attendees with dietary restrictions are asked to call 847-741-5660.
