The City of Prospect Heights announces the easy way to pay the utility bills.

Automatic payments are now available for the City of Prospect Heights.

Residents can pay water and sewer bills automatically through the auto pay system. The payment will be automatically deducted from the resident's bank account, so it will never be late or forgotten.

To sign up for auto pay, download the form, print and fill it out, then return it with a voided check or copy of a check and send it to City of Prospect Heights, 8 N. Elmhurst Road, Prospect Heights IL 60070, or scan the form and voided check and email it to ktrausch@prospect-heights.org.

Once the form has been received by the city, it will take four to six weeks for the automatic payments to begin. The water or sewer bill will have a notation that the bill will be automatically deducted from the bank account when the auto pay begins. The payment will be deducted on the bill's due date.

Regardless of being on vacation, sick or forgetful, the bills will be paid on time, ensuring that residents never have late fees and avoid hits on their credit reports. This is a free service; any fees are absorbed by the city.
