Approvals for new candidates for Park Ridge boards and commissions are scheduled for the City Council meeting on Monday.

The Mayor's Advisory Board is recommending the appointment of Linda Nagle and Rebecca Leslie to the Zoning Board of Appeals and Todd Baldi to the Liquor License Review Board.

The Mayor's Advisory Board met with the candidates on Nov. 2. The interviewees for the Zoning Board of Appeals were Hubert Cloromski, Linda Nagle and Rebecca Leslie. The Liquor License Review Board interviewees were Todd Baldi and Christopher Ackeret.

While Cloromski was not present, Nagle and Leslie were able to share their qualifications. Nagle has served for the past five years on the board. She only missed one meeting during her last appointment. Leslie is new to Park Ridge. She previously worked for the Village of Palatine Zoning Board of Appeals and has worked as a planner for the last 10 years.

Baldi expressed his desire to work with the Liquor License Review Board. He is familiar with the licensing process due to his experience in the restaurant industry. Ackeret believes his experience in administrative law would make him an asset to the board. Ackeret previously worked as an associate for the Teamsters Union.

The next Mayor's Advisory Board Meeting has six interviews scheduled. A second date for interviews was discussed. The next meeting is on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m.
