Jonathan Kite Born September 2, 1979, in Skokie

Jonathan Kite was born on September 2, 1979, in Skokie, Illinois. He grew up in Skokie, attending Old Orchard Junior High and Niles North High School. Kite earned a theater degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is known for his role as Oleg Golishevsky on the sitcom "2 Broke Girls," which aired from 2011 to 2017. Kite has appeared in other TV shows including "Raising Hope" and "American Dad!" as well as various commercials. He is also recognized for his stand-up comedy and his ability to impersonate over 120 celebrities. In addition, Kite voiced characters in the animated series "Cleopatra in Space."

Skokie local Eric Rosen born on September 3, 1993

Eric Rosen, born on September 3, 1993, in Skokie, Illinois, is an American chess player known for his achievements in the chess world. He became a FIDE Master in 2011 and an International Master in 2015. Rosen began playing chess as a child and won the Illinois 3rd Grade State Championship at age 9. He attended Niles North High School, leading the chess team to two state championships. In 2011, he won the U.S. K-12 Championship with a perfect score, prompting the Skokie Village Board to declare May 16, 2011, Eric Rosen Day. Rosen continues to contribute to the chess community through educational content on Twitch and YouTube.
