Ian Burns, former New Trier High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, March 20 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Thursday, March 20, former New Trier High School standout Ian Burns’ current collegiate team the Michigan Wolverines won 68-65 against the UC San Diego Tritons in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Ball Arena, this was the first game against the UC San Diego Tritons during the championship.

The Michigan Wolverines’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 3:15 p.m. in Ball Arena against Texas A&M Aggies.

Ian Burns’ game position is guard.
