Raja Krishnamoorthi, a U.S. Congressman representing Illinois' 8th district since 2017, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. His recent tweets address topics ranging from leadership in the United States Postal Service to historical injustices and international conflicts.

On February 19, 2025, Krishnamoorthi expressed his hopes for new leadership at the United States Postal Service. He stated, "I sincerely hope that our next USPS leader will show the kind of commitment to improving service and reducing prices that Postmaster General DeJoy failed to deliver."

In another tweet on the same day, he highlighted historical injustices faced by Japanese Americans during World War II. He tweeted, "During World War II, more than 120,000 Japanese Americans were forcibly sent to camps simply because of their heritage. We must never allow history to repeat itself. As a member of @CAPAC, I will always stand up for #AANHPI communities and civil rights."

Later that day, Krishnamoorthi addressed the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. He clarified his stance by stating, "Let's get the fact straight: Ukraine did not start the war with Russia - Vladimir Putin did by invading Ukraine. And unlike Putin, President Zelenskyy is not a dictator."
