A. Review of Annual Community Organization Contribution Requests andAppropriation
Each year, the Village receives Community Contribution requests from nonprofit organizations. The Board reviews and discusses the requests for funds at a Committee of the Whole meeting and, through consensus, provides Village Staff with guidance on the appropriation of funds for the selected organizations.
B. Review Annual Requests to Designate a Special Vehicle Sticker
Each year, the Village issues a Special Vehicle Sticker that residents have the option to purchase instead of the regular Village Vehicle Sticker. The cost of the Special Vehicle Sticker includes the standard fee as well as a minimum donation of $20 to a local organization approved by the Village Board.
