Village of Arlington Heights Senior Citizens Commission met Nov. 18

I. CALL TO ORDER

Chairperson Viecelli began the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.

III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Minutes of October 21, 2024

CHAIRPERSON VIECELLI REQUESTED A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MEETING MINUTES OF OCTOBER 21, 2024. COMMISSIONER ZIMMERMAN MADE A MOTION AND SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER DREW. ALL WERE IN FAVOR AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

IV. REPORTS

Chairperson

Chairperson Viecelli reviewed the three proposals for the Facebook Launch for the Senior Center. The proposals will provide teasers two times a month in December leading up to an announcement of the launch on December 31. The commissioners selected proposal number 2 as it provided a straightforward approach to the eight agencies of the senior center.

The Liaison will complete the proposal and present to the administration with the recommendation provided from the commission on November 21. The Senior Center Manager and Senior Center Program Coordinator will be responsible for the creating content for the page. Liaison Report

COMMISSIONER DREW MADE A MOTION AND WAS SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER ZIMMERMAN. ALL WERE IN FAVOR AND THE MEETING CONCLUDED AT 6:45 PM.
