Review and Approve February 26, 2024 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting minutes.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT TIME
This agenda item is reserved for members of the public who desire to address the Public Body on a topic that is within purview and jurisdiction of the Public Body, but that is not listed in another location on the agenda. If you would like to speak about a matter that is listed on the agenda, we ask that you wait until that agenda item is called, and we will give you an opportunity to speak then. Anyone desiring to speak should fill out a written speaker form (located in the back of the meeting room) and submit it to the Staff Liaison. “Public Comment Time” is not a forum for open dialogue or engagement with members of the Public Body. Rather, it is intended as an opportunity for you to make comments to the Public Body. 4. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION OF PETITIONS
A. DOCKET NO. ZBA24-0005 (445 Skokie Blvd.)
Petition by CS Kinross Lake Parkway LLC (affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co.) for a variation to reduce the required corner side yard from 30’ to 11’-6” to construct additional parking stalls. The C-5 zoned property (PIN No. 04-02-412-025-0000) is the site of a single store office building with frontages on Skokie Boulevard and Henrici Drive. The variation has been requested to construct a parking lot expansion related to a building addition.
B. DOCKET NO. ZBA24-0006 (3025 Margo)
Petition by Stanislav Murovannyy for a variation to reduce the required rear yard setback from 40’ to 26.17’ on the first floor and from 40’ to 35’ on the second floor. The R-4 zoned property (PIN No. 04-17-402-027-0000) is the site of a single-family residence. The variation has been requested to accommodate a rear addition.
