A. National Public Safety Telecommunications Week
Proclamation
In honor of National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, President Hayes commended the professionalism of the Northwest Central Dispatch System which serves the Village. The Village was the founding member of the system. NWCDS provides 911 services for 9 communities, fields 1700 calls per day, and dispatches 300,000 calls for service annually. The system covers just under half a million citizens. John Ferraro, Jenny Rodgers, and Gia Graciana represented NWCDS and received the proclamation from President Hayes.
