Village of Buffalo Grove Farmer's Market Committee met March 1.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

In attendance: Paulette Greenberg, Ed Muldoon, Jackie Beegun, Skylar Beegun, Dave Bergman, Jane Primack, Mindy Lazor, and Greg Sauser

Call to order: 7:08pm

Minutes: Jackie Beegun made motion to approve, Jane Primack, 2nd. Minutes approved unanimously.

Status of Vendor Contracts: New Rules and Regulations have been approved by Village attorney.

Will be sent with all vendor applications

a. Ed will send out apps to current vendors this week. In a week or so, he will send out apps to potential new vendors

b. Rearrange vendor or possibly NFP spots so no “dead zones”.? add more vendors around Info and food tents.

c. Discussed vendor dumping in containers vs dumpsters – Greg adding another line in R&Rs and will bold it.

2. Resident Monica unable to present her ideas on kid’s educations sessions at the market. Possibly will come in April. Jane spoke about coloring sheets, etc. that she has in her basement. Paulette found a Little Tykes picnic table for them to use. Must be parent supervised – this will be posted on FB page on week(s) we offer it.

3. Entertainers: Jackie stated all but 2 slots have been filled.

4. New vendors to consider: Twiddly Bits

5. Non-Profits: Larry sent info to Paulette. Still waiting on some responses

6. Open Discussion: David B = reached out to Gale Gand re: cooking demos. She wanted to know about budget amount to pay her and pay for her ingredients. David will reach back out re: possibly selling her products for profit.

Jane made a motion to adjoin, Mindy 2nd. Carried unanimously
