A. 2022 Property Tax Abatement (No cost)
Objective: Provide information to adopt the annual ordinances abating taxes for the property tax levy.
B. Sale of General Obligation Corporate Purpose Bonds to Finance Utility Fund (9,560,000) and Parks & Recreation Capital Projects (5,000,000) ($14,560,000)
Objective: Provide funding to finance the improvement of underground utilities and renovate City recreation facilities.
C. Engineering Services Agreement with HR Green, Inc. for the 2022 - 2025 Bridge and Culvert Inspection and Rehabilitation Program ($325,520 over four years)
Objective: Provide mandatory bridge and culvert inspection, analysis and rehabilitation to ensure the City’s bridges and culverts are maintained.
D. Design Engineering Services Agreement with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for the Alft Lane and Randall Road Intersection Improvement Project ($101,229)
Objective: Complete final design and preparation of construction documents for turn lane additions in order to ease traffic congestion at the intersection of Alft Lane and Randall Road.
E. Renewal and Upgrade of Netmotion Mobility Virtual Private Network License and Support Subscription ($76,048)
Objective: Renew and upgrade critical license and support services for the City’s virtual private network client.
F. Professional Services Agreement with InQUEST Consulting, LLC (Not to exceed $160,000)
Objective: Provide assistance and professional direction to continue work on the City’s core value of diversity and inclusion.
G. Professional Services Agreement with Lobbyist Dan Shomon, Inc. ($84,000 annually)
Objective: Maximize the City’s influence in proposed legislation and administrative regulations affecting municipal operations.
